UrbanTheater did it, again!

We closed yet another fabulous production. A BIG thank you to the cast and crew of Sonnets for an Old Century for sticking around with us for the last six months. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to all our loyal friends/supporters who continue to believe in our work. To our new friends, we look forward to see you again. Steppenwolf Theatre Company, we are extremely grateful for this experience. It has been a blast!

1st Sonnets Talk-Back at the Steppenwolf Garage

On Thursday, March 31 at the Steppenwolf Garage, UrbanTheater Company (UTC) held a post-show discussion with Christian Coon, Pastor of Urban Village Church (UVC) and Sonnets for an Old Century director Madrid St. Angelo. The discussion was facilitated by UTC artistic associate, Jasmin Cardenas. Topics of discussion were on: The Afterlife, Sonnets and our Process as part of the 2nd Annual Garage Rep.

The next two talk-backs will be on Thursday, April 21 and Saturday, April 23 and we’d love for you to join us.

José Rivera, writer of Sonnets for an Old Century came out to see our current production at the Steppenwolf Garage on Wednesday, February 23rd. He thoroughly enjoyed it and said it was a “brilliant production” that was “perfectly cast”. What an honor!
